In addition to the café experience, they sold their homemade honey, sauces, and rubs, which became hugely popular. Even after they closed the café, people continued to buy these products, a testament to their lasting impact.

The creation of Yahweh Acres, in 2023,  was inspired by Colin and Tamara’s deep love for Yahweh and the land they call home. Living on acreage, surrounded by our animals including horses, dogs, a cat, and a thriving bee colony, it was only natural for them to choose a name that reflected their connection to both their faith and their environment.

Colin’s culinary background as a chef played a significant role in the creation of their sauces, rubs, and spices. His passion for cooking and flavoring inspired him to share his unique blends with the world. Additionally, Colin’s love for bees has elevated their honey to a whole new level—once you taste it, it’s hard to go back to anything else. Colin began beekeeping in the Snowy Mountains of NSW. Then started as a small hobby again in 2016 with just two hives has now grown into a thriving honey business. They currently maintain 15 hives, which keeps Colin busy year-round. These hives produce approximately 300kg of honey per quarter, thanks to the hard work of their bees.
